Tamara (Pavić) Štambuk

Tamara (Pavić) Štambuk, PhD in Biochemistry (2017) is a Senior Researcher and Scientific Director for Diabetes in Genos, leading research focused on monitoring glycosylation aberrations in diabetes and exploring the potential use of glycan changes as biomarkers. She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of glycobiology and glycan analysis. Her expertise is complemented by training at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism in Oxford, UK and the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Berlin, Germany. She has participated in numerous international and national projects and has over 30 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
