Prof. Riccardo Troncone, M.D., Ph.D. (male) is Full Professor of Pediatrics at the Department of Medical Translational Sciences of the University Federico II, Naples. He is the Director of the “European Laboratory for the Investigation of Food-Induced Diseases” at the same University. His research interests are focused mostly on clinical and immunological aspects of celiac disease. Coordinator of the cluster project on celiac disease (5th framework), member of CDEUSSA (SSA on coeliac disease in the 6th framework), Coordinator of the family study in the PreventCD project (6th framework). Past President of the European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) member of the ESPGHAN Special Interest Group on Celiac disease. Professor Troncone is author of 191 papers, 113 editorials/reviews and 3 books (HI 54, citations 9643).
