INITIALISE at Nordic MSP 2025

The Nordic Conference in Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics took place from 1–3 September 2025 in Odense, Denmark. The meeting brings together researchers working in mass spectrometry, proteomics, and metabolomics, providing a forum for methodological and application-focused discussions.

Professor Tuulia Hyötyläinen, Principal Investigator from Örebro University and partner within the INITIALISE consortium, presented project-related research during the Metabolomics session.

Her presentation, “From Exposure to Effect: Omics-Based Insights into Endocrine Disruptors and Metabolic Health,” examined how advanced omics methodologies can be used to characterise the biological impact of endocrine-disrupting chemicals and their links to metabolic health outcomes.

By integrating exposure science with high-resolution molecular profiling, the work contributes to INITIALISE’s objective of understanding how environmental factors influence disease-related mechanisms.
